A couple of days ago I shared my first attempt at using the Ornamental Bliss bundle and was really pleased with my efforts.
I wanted to try out a technique which I haven't used in a while, which is the emboss resist technique, whereby you clear emboss a design on a blank piece of card stock and then use a blending tool to blend colour over it.
I used a beautiful pearly blue card base which is Caribbean Sea Pearlescent Card from Tonic Studios and then selected some Altenew Crisp Dye Ink in shades of teal and blue which I applied to the card surface using my blending brushes. Once I was happy with the application, I rubbed over the surface with kitchen roll, to remove any excess ink.
I like the muted tones of blue and teal. I should add that I also stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, which I dried off using my embossing heat tool before stamping over it again with Clear Versamark, before heat embossing with clear embossing powder. I did that prior to blending on the ink.
I do have a couple more designs to share using the Ornamental Bliss Bundle, so I do hope you will join me for that.
Bye for now and ..........................."happy crafting everybody!".
