My card will be heading off in the post shortly to some lovely folk because I want them to know that they are in my thoughts at a difficult time of the year.
I wanted to create a delicate and pretty frame for my sentiment and the Double Halo Etched Dies are just perfect for this. The frame creates a beautiful focal point.
I wanted to add lots of different texture to this project, and did so by using wooden butterflies which I gave an enamelled look to, by coating in some pearlescent coloured drops and leaving them to dry. I created a floral spray around one side of my pretty frame by using my Cinch and Go Flowers III dies, combined with some mulberry paper flowers from my craft stash. I added further texture to my largest flower by adding some sparkle. I finished the whole thing with a raffia bow.
I used my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System to foil the sentiment which is from the More Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate.
There are two different sized intricate dies in the Double Halo Oval set, the smallest of which I used to create a beautiful little topper for a weeny box project, which I think makes it look rather special.
This is an illustration of what comes in the Double Halo Oval Etched Dies set. You can click the illustration to be taken to the Spellbinders website-
Ciao for now and ............................."happy crafting everybody!"

Ms. Linda this card is so beautiful ❤️. Your friends who will receive this will be so bless. I love all the details you put into this card and box. Including using wooden butterflies which gave an enamelled look, by coating in some pearlescent coloured drops. Now how wonderful is that touch. I am definitely going to have to give this a try.
