Classic Rose from Altenew - A Get Well Card

I do have a lovely for floral cards and also for using layering stamps to create depth and dimension when stamping my images.

So I had a little flip through my growing collection of Altenew bundles and decided to use the fabulous Classic Beauty stamp and dies for today's card.  This set is part of the Framed Beauty Creativity Card Making Kit.

I started by lightly stencilling a delicate background using the Patchwork Kite Stencil, using my Dew Drops Altenew Crisp Dye Ink in  Then I stamped some images directly onto that layer before stamping and die-cutting some leaves and flowers from a separate piece of water colour card stock.   I chose watercolour card because I like the texture.  Then I used foam backed adhesive strips to my die cuts before positioning them on the card.

I die cut the large letters to spell the word "Sending" using the Altenew Fine Alphabet die set.  I cut two sets - one in a pastel blue and one in white and layered the letters, slightly offsetting the top later.

The "Healing Hugs" sentiment is from the Altenew Sentiment Strips 2 stamp set.

I finished the whole thing with a sprinkling of teeny tiny sequins.

I love how it turned out.  Nice and bright and clean.

I do hope you like it.  Thank you for stopping to have a look.

Bye for now and ....................."happy crafting everybody!".
