The result of my labours is this pretty card which I have now earmarked for a lovely friend of mine.
I really enjoyed working with colours in differing tones, which is something that I really love about using layering stamps and, in particular, layering floral stamps.
I used my Altenew Crisp Dye inks in tones of pink, lavender, turquoise and green. Once all the images had been stamped I die cut them and mounted them onto a black layer, which really makes the colours pop. I used my Nested Stitched Slims Craft Dies by Lisa . These are perfect if you like creating slimline cards with lots of layers.
The sentiment is from the Altenew Sentiment Strips 2 stamp set. I have found that I am getting a lot of mileage from this set as there are so many different sentiments to suit all sorts of occasions.

I am outside my comfort zone when using dark colors, but you have made a strikingly beautiful card here with the dark paper and lighter elements. It will be a keepsake for whoever receives it!
