Spellbinders Filigree Facade Frame Etched Dies by Amazing Paper Grace - A Birthday Card

Hello folks

Today I am sharing a pretty birthday card which I have made using the beautiful Filigree Facade Frame Etched Dies by Amazing Paper Grace.  These dies were designed by Becca Feeken and are part of her new Make A Scene Collection.  Becca's creative team recently took part in a blog hop to showcase the entire collection, with lots of different ideas for using the dies.  If you missed our blog hop, you can catch it here:-

The Make a Scene Collection create kinetic cards in the form of a slider window which opens to reveal a layered scene.  There is a basic set for the slider and there are available various different sets of dies with different scenes/themes which can mixed and matched.

However, for today's card I have made a simple yet elegant portrait 5x7 inch card.   You will see that the Filigree Facade Frame fits this size beautifully.   There are five intricate panels and you have the option to leave of any of the panels blank.   I have cut the intricate side panels directly onto my card base layer.  You may just be able to see that I created a separate intricate panel behind my topper.

I think this is a really useful set of dies, as you have various design options.

I used the Elegant Twist Circles Etched Dies for my topper, together with the "Happy Birthday" word die which is from the Celebration Scene Etched Dies, which are also part of the Make A Scene Collection.

To finish my card I made some pretty flowers in varying sizes, together with some branches using the new Grand Cinch and Go Flowers Etched Dies

I am really excited about this new collection and am looking forward to creating some slider cards with different themes from the collection, which I will be sharing here over the coming weeks.

Thank you for joining me today and I do hope you will make a return visit.

Bye for now and ......................... "happy crafting everybody!"

  1. Gorgeous card - would make a fantastic Mother's Day card too. I love spotty flowers - even though Mother Nature hasn't cottoned on to them yet!
