Today I am sharing a card which I made using the really pretty Fan Flower Transom Etched Dies which has been designed by Becca Feeken as part of her amazing new Stained Glass Bouquet Collection.
I have seen some lovely ways to using the dies, which entail using watercolours or inky blending, but for this project I opted to use card stock in complementary colours to make up the gorgeous fan pattern. So I selected shades of deep pink, lilac and aqua blue which looks quite dramatic when teamed up with black card stock with gold accents.
I know that black cards can be a little devisive. Some people love them, others dont. Personally, I am big fan.
I have chosen to use one element from this set of dies. It was rather like putting together a mini jigsaw, filling in all the spaces with different colours. I love how it creates a pretty border. My card is A6. Below is an illustration from the Spellbinder's website which shows what is included in the complete set-
I actually think that this set is my favourite from Becca's Stained Glass Bouquet Collection. Which is your favourite? I'd love to kbow.
Well that's it from me for today. Hope you like the way I have used the dies. Thanks for stopping by and please do pop back.
Bye for now and ...................."happy crafting everybody!".
