Wishing you all a Happy Easter Monday.
Today I am shareinga card project which I made using the lovely Sweet Rondure Etched Dies which were recently sent to me by Becca Feeken. These dies are part of the new Stained Glass Bouquet Collection which I have been enjoying working with.
For this little project (the card is a 5 x 5 inches), I decided to do some tone on tone blending. I die-cut the Sweet Rondure circle three times. Once in gold, once in black and once in aqua.
I selected some of aqua pieces and shaded and blended using alcohol markers in the same tones. I started with the darker shades at the bottom, blending them out with the lighter. Once done I adhered the gold rondure to the centre panel of my card and stuck down the aqua and black pieces to form a pattern.
Then I die-cut the rose motif and added a "Happy Birthday" tag to complete my card.
The illustration below details what dies are included in this set:-
