You Are My Home Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and Die Set from Amazing Paper Grace - A Funky Moving Home Card

Hi there peeps.

I hope you are all doing well and keeping safe.   I had my second Covid vaccination last week and have to say that it made me feel quite fatigued.  But that was about the only side effect, so all is good and I am grateful to have received it.

So it was quite an eventful week for the Parkers.   My lovely son and his equally lovely lady moved house which was not without its dramas !!   Enough said about that.   Poor things.

Anyway now they are settling in happily and the occasion gave me the perfect opportunity to make today's card project.

I love the You Are My Home Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and Die Set which was designed by Becca as part of her stunning new Sweet Cardlets II Collection.

I have seen quite a few cards made with this useful little set and was happy that I could use it to mark my boy's new step up the property ladder.     I used Black Glimmer Foil for my card and then set about colouring the little houses in an assortment of funky colourways using some alcohol marker pens.   I do love the big sunny backdrop.

The sentiment I chose for my card says it all.   Home really is where the heart is.

I thought that the coloured images would look pretty smart framed with a square die cut from the Elegant Twist Squares Etched Die Set.

I really did enjoy putting this card together.   I was able to combine my love of foiling with another favoured technique of colouring.

Well I do hope you like and hopefully they will like it too.

Thanks for stopping by and please do pop back again.

Bye for now and ........................"happy crafting everybody!"
