Yesterday I shared this photo on my Instagram account:-
I had selected this bundle of goodness to play with and below is the result:-
I mixed and matched products by different brands and was really pleased with how this card ended up.
I love the Tim Holtz Wildflower Layering Stencil and have been using it a lot lately.
I have always loved tone on tone projects and did some blending with a selection of Tim Holtz Distress Oxide on some textured Classic Card Stock from Tonic Studios. The colour is Mauve Purple and the ink pads I used were Picked Raspberry, Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet.
I made my own sparkly heart embellishment to coordinate, and for this I used a small wooden heart which I covered with some Nuvo Glitter Drops in Lilac Whisper. I also dotted some of the glitter drops on my card front.
I used products from Altenew for the sentiment; these being their Tall Alpha Lowercase Die Set and the Sentiment Strips 2 photopolymer stamp set. I layered my die-cut letters, offsetting each coloured letter to create depth and dimension, and stamped the words "Super Day" in Deep Iris Crisp Dye Ink from Altenew.
I am pleased with the overall finished result which I think looks crisp and stylish. Hope you like it.
Thanks for stopping and having a look. Please do pop back.
That's it from me for today, so bye for now and ..........................."happy crafting everybody!"
