And Today's Recipe is ? Altenew Simple Mask Stencil and Charming Dooodles Stamps and Die Bundle

Hello and happy Thursday peeps.

Today's recipe involves the use of the Altenew Simple Mask Stencil and my Charming Doodles Stamps and Die Bundle.

I have discovered a fondness for stencilling which takes me back in time to when stencilling was confined to decorating my walls with flowers and swirls when that was very "on trend".   Nowadays I am happy to be using stencils to decorate my greetings cards instead!

So, with that in mind, I stencilled a simple frame background in Altenew Iceberg Crisp Ink, stamped and die-cut a cute flower and various sprigs for the corner of my frame, and then added the simple sentiment.  For the sentiment I used my Sentiment Strips 2 stamp set and my Tall Alpha Lowercase Dies.

I do like to add different textures to my cards, so I threw in a couple of wooden butterflies from my craft stash and embellished them with pale blue adhesive backed pearls.

This card came together quickly and easily and I really like the simplistic style.

Hope you like it too.   Thanks for looking !

Bye for now and ......................"happy crafting everybody!"

And Today's Recipe is ? Altenew Grid Cover Die and the Queen Anemone Stamps and Die Bundle

Hello folks and apologies for the radio silence.

I have had a few things going on that have impacted my family but fingers crossed we are now back on track.   Life sometimes throws a few curve balls at you, and I guess someone up there thought it was time to send a few our way.  So thanks but ....................no thanks!

Anyway, today I am sharing a recipe for a pretty card.

For this recipe you will need:-

Just in case you hadn't already guessed - I am a huge Altenew fan and recently treated myself to the said recipe.

Clean and simple with lots of white space is a favourite combinaton for me and I think the Grid Cover Die provides a really nice stylish background to show off the stamped and die-cut images from the Queen Anemone layering stamp set.

I do have a fondness for layering stamps and love how you can build up colours and depth with each layer.  I do know its not a technique for everyone but it is one that I really enjoy.  A bit like putting together a jigsaw, figuring out what need to go where.

This little project was a lovely way to pass some time.  I really love the simplicity.

Do you have a favourite stamping technique?   I would love to you to share your thoughts in my comment section below.

That's it from me for today.  I do hope you like my "recipe".  Thanks for looking. Bye for now and  ........................ "happy crafting everybody!"

Amazing Paper Grace September Die of the Month - Pop Up 3D Vignette Vintage Cash Register

I love the Amazing Paper Grace Vignettes and my collection continues to grow.  I was kindly sent this month's Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month by Spellbinders, which is the incredibly cute Pop Up 3D Vintage Cash Register.   How Becca keeps coming up with these innovative designs just staggers me.

So this is my take on creating the Cash Register.

It's pretty girly!

I die-cut the pieces and decorated the front with an assortment of pearls, flowers from my stash and gold accents, before assembling.

I love the sentiments with this set and I think that "Change is Good" is a very positive message.    Change is good.  Creativity is good.   I do love this little set.

If you would like to find out more about the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month Club, click here.  Spellbinders also run several value club options, which are available to those wishing to join several clubs at once.  To find out more, click here.

  • Skipping is no longer an option. People may cancel their subscription and rejoin at any time.
  • Spellbinders now accept PayPal on club subscriptions.
  • People may no longer change their subscription date. The first subscription charge will happen within 5 days from their sign-up date and the subsequent charges will recur on the 5th of each month.
  • There is now a black-out window (approximately 6 days before the 1st of the month). This means people won’t be able to join the Club during the blackout window. People can join anytime from the 1st of the month until the blackout window.
