Altenew Mighty Kind Stand Alone Dies Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

Hi everyone.

Today am delighted to be participating in the Altenew Mighty Kind Blog Hop which celebrates the release of brand new stand-alone dies!  We will all be sharing lots of ideas for the new products.  There are details of Free Gifts and also a fabulous Giveaway.  So, be sure to hop along with us.

Thank you to the super crafty Reiko Tsuchida for directing you here.  Next up is the amazing Svitlana Shayevich.  Alternatively you can begin this hopping journey directly from the Altenew Card Blog.  The full list of blog hop participants can be found below.

I have three projects to share with you today.

First up is this card which I made combining three of new products.

The black background was created using the Simple Shapes Cover Die.  I really like the geometric pattern.

I chose to use the really pretty Rose Queen Die Set, building up the petals, leaves and stamen like a little colourful jigsaw puzzle.  I like that the white outline really pops against the black background.

The sentiment, which I love, is from the new Be Kind Die Set.  I coordinated this with the purple stamens.   I have to say that I was ever so pleased with how this card came together.

I am always pleased to see new Alphabet dies popping up, because I do enjoy mixing different fonts.   The new Mighty Alphabet is set to become a favourite, because I like to use slimline die-cut fonts on my cards.

I combined my simple sentiment with some decorative paper from my Altenew Cheerful Meadow 6 x 6 inch paper set.  I like different textures on cards, so popped on a few black "gems" for a subtle sparkle when they catch the light.

The stamped "My Sweet Friend" sentiment is from my Sweetest Peas stamp set.

My final card project was created using the Lovely Envelope Die Set.

I stuck to a pastel colour combo for this one. I created different coloured layers on a 6 x 6 card base.  There are hearts and flowers combined in this versatile little set, so it would be perfect for Valentine's Day.

The sentiment I used for this card is the Fancy Hello Die, which is a "go to" in my craft stash.
